Two deliverables will be carried out through the ALL IN project. The first of them will be a series of Guidelines on innovative methodologies and approaches in teaching l2 to adult migrants.
To carry out this outcome, firstly, in the four countries involved, a field research will be carried out in order to bring out good practices in the field of L2 teaching and the criticalities found in the system in use. The main objective is to highlight the strategies that have proven to be effective in overcoming the problems encountered from time to time by language facilitators in the field of L2 teaching and that are often not codified and systematized. The University for Foreigners of Siena will be responsible for developing the methodology for the field research and each partner will be involved in the research in its own country, with a team of researchers for drafting and fieldwork.
In a second step, the results of the field research will be analyzed by the University for Foreigners of Siena, which will use them to elaborate guidelines on innovative methodologies and approaches in the teaching of Language 2.
The content of the Guidelines will include, at least:
1. A brief analysis of the situation (analyzing the Educational system, differences or similarities in each country, criticalities and potential).
2. Methodology.
3. Recommendations on strategies, methodologies and good practices (for concrete contexts and profiles).
4. Conclusions.
It will include bibliography, link to additional information and references to concrete entities and tools recommended. These guidelines will also be the starting point for the partners to develop innovative didactic modules to teach L2 to adults, which will be the next result.

The second outcome of the project is the Manual with innovative teaching modules for adult l2 learning. Each partner will design and implement a didactic module for teaching L2 to adults for a minimum of 10 course hours. Each partner will choose a reference target on the basis of the needs of its territory of intervention, detected during the research and will elaborate a didactic module addressed to such a target (migrant women, refugees/asylum seekers, migrants in the working environment or needing to get a B license, etc.), foreseeing activities, methodologies, approaches tailored ad hoc.
The modules will be innovative in terms of the type of approach and methodology used. A common feature of all modules will be the central role assumed by the learners as the main actors in their process of acquiring language skills. The focus will therefore be on cooperative learning techniques and on methodologies aimed at creating a classroom climate that facilitates the breaking down of the emotional barriers that often hinder the successful acquisition of a second language.
