Asociación Guaraní



GUARANI Association is a non-profit organisation composed of interdisciplinary professionals of different nationalities. Its mission is to develop projects for the social-labour integration of immigrants, refugees, asylum seekers and other groups at risk of social exclusion. Guaraní was founded in 2006. For more than ten years, it has been developing public projects and programmes financed by the Community of Madrid, the Spanish Government, the European Social Fund, the ERASMUS+ and AMIF programmes. During its professional path, Guaraní has adapted to social changes in order to develop an intervention model based on the specific needs of vulnerable people and in respect to their autonomy and freedom.

The objectives of the entity are to:
- Promote integration and co-existence between immigrants and host societies through mutual recognition of their rights and duties as citizens.
- Collaborate with public institutions in the transmission of the values of co-existence in Spain and the European Union (EU).
- Develop actions for the recognition of the professional competences of immigrants and for their professional recycling.
- Inform immigrants about the conditions of the labour market in Spain and the EU and promote actions to improve their employability through non-formal education training.
- Develop projects and actions to promote the social integration of minors, young people and immigrant families.

Guaraní is the lead organisation of ALL IN project.

Interorthodox Centre of the Church of Greece



Interorthodox Centre of the Church of Greece -established in 1969- is located in the Holy Monastery of the Dormition of Virgin Mary, in Pendeli in Athens and belongs to the Holy Synod of the Church of Greece. It is chaired by the Archbishop of Athens and All Greece, Hieronymos II. Director of the Interorthodox Centre is Metropolitan Ioannis of Thermopylae.

Interorthodox Centre, among other activities such as conferences, lectures, forums, various events etc., since 2009 and under the authority of the Ministry of National Education and Religious Affairs organizes educational seminars and programs for teachers of all grades. The purpose of these #educational #activities is to provide teachers with new and #innovative #pedagogical #methods and #tools, as well as to promote #Interfaith and #intercultural dialogue and social #cohesion.

Interorthodox Centre collaborates with international organizations and institutions and participates in the implementation of international and European projects related to innovation, exchanging good practices and #social #inclusion.

Besides the educational purpose, Interorthodox Centre tightens in various ways the relations among Christian Churches throughout the world. By organizing and hosting dialogue meetings (conventions, symposiums, seminars, workshops, visits etc.) Interorthodox Centre cultivates the #mentality to deal with arousing issues concerning the contemporary #multicultural and #interreligious social environment, through #cooperation and #dialogue with other orthodox churches, heterodox confessions and religious traditions.

University for Foreigners of Siena



The University for Foreigners of Siena (Italy) is a public university specialized in the teaching of Italian as well as many other languages (English, French, German, Spanish, Portuguese, Catalan, as well as Arabic, Chinese, Japanese, Russian and Korean). It also specializes in scientific research on the diffusion of the Italian language and culture in the world and in contact between Italian and other languages and cultures. Graduated students are involved in the language teaching, linguistic and cultural mediation, tourism, translation, economics, legal and sociological fields.

In 2017 the University celebrated the 100-year anniversary of the “Italian Language School for Foreigners” (1917 – 2017), one of the eldest institutions for the teaching of Italian to foreigners and the original unit of the University itself. The University for Foreigners of Siena offers many Degrees and Certifications: Undergraduate Bachelor’s Degrees; Postgraduate Master’s degrees; Ph.D studies; Training, refresher and specialization courses for teachers; E-Learning and distance education; Certifications for language learners and teachers. The university has received the European Label for Languages eleven times, from 2004 to 2018.

This is an award given by the European Union for language projects that have promoted the teaching and learning of languages through innovation and effective teaching practices, encouraging awareness of European linguistic heritage and motivating citizens to pursue multilingualism throughout their lives. Referring to the year 2022, University for Foreigners of Siena had 97 Erasmus+ agreements for study and traineeship, 125 bilateral agreements for non-EU mobility and 7 Double Degree programs with France, Germany, China, Korea and Russia.

The Centre of Excellence of the Research focuses its surveys on the situation of Italian language abroad and the diffusion of immigrant languages in Italy. One of the line of research of this Centre, the one involved in ALL-IN project, aims at promoting social inclusion of migrants, refugees and asylum seekers integrating or associating traditional classroom teaching and learning paths to extracurricular contexts, mainly sport facilities. The aim of the research is also to improve the competences and skills of teachers and adult trainers in the field of L2 education and sport. The project also aims at developing suitable tools for L2 teaching to adult migrants as well as designing and testing innovative teaching practices through sport activities.

VHS Cham



VHS Cham is a registered, non-profit association in Upper Palatinate and acts on a regional level. It provides courses in the field of society, vocational training, languages, health, culture and special courses (second chance schools). VHS Cham has a long-term experience of course development with the specific focus on and experienced in organising language courses for specific groups: young learners, among them young drop outs, young adults, adults, seniors, migrants, and people from rural areas. One of the largest groups of language learners are migrants/non-native speakers.

For this group, VHS Cham organises integration language courses and orientation courses. The language courses are based on quality management process developed together with Bavarian Adult Education Association and according to the EFQM management system and provided in accordance with rules of integration courses in Germany.

Additionally, placement counselling is also available.

VHS Cham works in several EU wide Development programmes as Erasmus + and Lifelong Learning Programme or Interreg, therefore, a European-wide network of various partner institutions. As an experienced coordinator and partner institution.

Per Esempio



Per Esempio is a non-profit organisation aiming at cultural, social, ethical, and economic development by promoting active participation of people and civic society, based in Palermo (Sicily, Italy). The mission of Per Esempio is to reinforce social cohesion in the targeted communities, evoking constructive processes for local as well as for international community development.

The organisation's activities particularly aim at empowering individuals and groups at risk of social exclusion by contributing to developing and improving their skills, knowledge and competencies. Through its engagement in networking with local and European partners, Per Esempio supports the actions of European and Euro-Mediterranean actors contributing to the comprehensive development of individuals and communities using non-formal educational approaches and tools that stimulate the active participation of youth and reinforcing intercultural dialogue. In pursuit of its mission, the organisation manages European projects, carries out fundraising activities, establishes and develops local and international partnerships and networks, promotes lifelong learning, training and mobility opportunities sustained by the European Union.

Per Esempio is an applicant and partner of several E+ learning mobility projects under KA1, KA2 and KA3 for adults and young people, as well as local and national programmes supporting education and community development. Through our actions we aim to empower individuals and communities; we do this by enhancing social inclusion of the people at risk of marginalization, whilst remaining focused on the respect of rights and diversities. Specifically, our activities are focused on children, youngsters and adults education, gender empowerment, job orientation paths, neighborhood events and public spaces regeneration.

COSPE



COSPE was founded in 1983 and is an international, secular, non-profit cooperation association. We operate in 24 countries alongside civil society and local communities, committed as we are to social justice and peace, supporting in particular marginalised and discriminated groups in their demands for social inclusion, human rights and democracy

We promote dialogue between people and between peoples, for a world of peace and acceptance, with more rights and democracy, more social justice and environmental sustainability, under the banner of equality between men and women and an end to all discrimination.

We work for the construction of a world where diversity is seen as a value, where we are enriched by encounters, and where social justice comes first and foremost through access for all to equal rights and opportunities.
